Role Purpose
To weigh, measure, and check materials received from suppliers to ensure compliance with defined quality requirements and standards.

Key Accountabilities
- Ensure quality objectives are implemented in line with company policy.
- Enforce strict adherence to quality procedures and specifications by field staff.
- Identify and sample each product batch according to agreed sampling standards and verify compliance with specifications.
- Test new raw materials and products for conformity to specifications, reporting any issues to the Quality Control Section Head.
- Prepare rejection claim reports for materials/products that fail inspection in work-in-process (WIP).
- Implement quarantine procedures for all non-conforming products with proper identification and approval from the Quality Control Section Head.
- Ensure all quality-related site activities meet applicable codes and standards.
- Prepare sketches for new products and input specifications for new materials into the system.
- Monitor raw materials on production lines and coordinate with Purchasing if specification changes are needed.
- Inspect finished goods received from sister companies and external suppliers.
- Investigate non-compliant laboratory results and take corrective action.
- Share knowledge and experience with team members, alerting them to potential problems.
- Execute all duties safely and in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Support identification of occupational health, safety, and environmental risks in your function.

- Protect your own health and safety as well as that of others who may be affected by your actions at work.
- Report all unsafe behaviours, unsafe conditions, near misses, and incidents immediately.

Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge
- Diploma in Chemistry, Biology, or a related science field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality control activities
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Basic English literacy (reading and writing)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain focused on repetitive tasks
- Proactive, energetic, and accurate in data handling
