Job description
The Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes. This role involves collaborating with physicians, family members, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the highest quality of care. The nurse will assess patient needs, develop care plans, administer medications, and monitor patient progress to promote recovery and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ health status. Evaluate patient needs, medical history, physical condition, and support systems.
- Care Planning: Develop individualized care plans based on patient assessments. Set realistic goals for patient health and recovery. Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to implement care plans.
- Clinical Care: Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed by physicians. Perform wound care, manage catheters, and provide other skilled nursing services. Monitor vital signs and symptoms, documenting changes and communicating with the healthcare team.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on managing medical conditions and promoting health. Provide instructions on medication administration, wound care, and other treatments. Teach strategies for maintaining safety and preventing injury in the home.
- Coordination of Care: Coordinate with other healthcare providers, such as physical therapists and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care. Facilitate communication between patients, families, and the healthcare team. Arrange for additional home health services or community resources as needed.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessments, care plans, and progress notes. Report any changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse or physician. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Support and Advocacy: Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families. Advocate for patient needs and preferences in the healthcare system. Respect patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards of care.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai Health Authority)
- Experience: Previous experience in home health care or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, empathy, and attention to detail.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications in home health care nursing are a plus.Proficiency in accounting software and medical billing systems is a plus.

Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
