We are seeking a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing cost control, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), managing project budgets, and ensuring cost efficiency throughout various construction projects. You will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure that project costs are accurately estimated and controlled.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on project specifications and drawings.
- Monitor, control, and report on project costs, budgets, and financial performance.
- Evaluate and manage variations, claims, and procurement processes.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost estimation and efficient execution of projects.
- Maintain and prepare cost reports and other project-related documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction and contracting industry.
- Proven experience in cost management for building projects.
- Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, and cost estimating software).
