Job Description:
We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QS cum Cost Planner to join our Planning Department. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in quantity surveying, cost estimation, and project cost planning, with a solid understanding of construction and consultancy environments. You will be a key player in ensuring that projects are accurately forecasted and financially controlled from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost plans and budgets for various project phases.
- Provide accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost plans.
- Support project planning with cost-related insights and feasibility assessments.
- Monitor project costs and budgets, identifying variances and cost-saving opportunities.
- Liaise with project managers, planners, and engineers to ensure cost alignment with project schedules.
- Prepare and review tender documents, BOQs, and contract conditions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in cost planning and quantity surveying, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost management practices and industry standards.
- Proficient in cost planning software/tools and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Must be locally available for in-person interviews.
- Must be available to join immediately.
