Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our Interior Fit Out team. The role involves cost planning, estimation, contract administration,
and financial management of interior projects. The candidate will ensure projects are delivered within budget, aligned with quality standards, and in compliance with contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation & Budgeting:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and budgets for interior fit-out projects.
- Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
- Advise on cost optimization and value engineering solutions.
- Tendering & Procurement:
- Prepare tender documents, RFQs, and evaluate subcontractor quotations.
- Assist in negotiation and finalization of subcontractor agreements.
- Ensure procurement aligns with project schedules and budgets.
- Contracts & Documentation:
- Prepare, review, and administer contracts.
- Manage variations, claims, and contractual correspondence.
- Maintain proper records of measurements, site instructions, and cost control reports.
- Project Cost Control:
- Monitor and control project expenditures.
- Provide regular cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and budget updates.
- Highlight cost risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Coordination & Communication:
- Collaborate with project managers, site teams, designers, and procurement departments.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for financial and contractual matters.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3–6 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Interior Fit Out industry (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of interior joinery, finishes, and fit-out materials.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and cost estimation software.
- Excellent understanding of contracts (FIDIC knowledge preferred).
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
