About the Role
A senior member of the International Markets team, the Regional Manager will provide expert leadership to deliver programs that grow demand for Australian red meat and livestock across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). This role will be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Regional Manager will develop and implement market access, market knowledge and marketing strategies that support industry and government to defend/improve current favourable market access conditions and increase customer and consumer awareness and preference for Australian read meat in the EMEA region.
Our ideal Regional Manager will need to:
- Oversee business development plans targeting key trade, foodservice and retail accounts
- Maintain a strong network of key industry and government relationships through the region to collect and share market intelligence and determine priorities across the region.
- Oversee the management and delivery of promotional assets to promote improved perceptions of Australian beef, lamb and goat meat.
- Oversee team of MLA employees and locally engaged contractors in Europe and MENA to deliver programs across the region in line with the industry endorsed implementation plans.
- Oversee management of offices ensuring all activities comply with legal, corporate and ethical standards.
- Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of programs; identify barriers and difficulties; collect relevant information about industry issues; provide timely written reports of progress against plans with respect to budgets and market developments.
- Ensure all Peak Councils, levy payers, and other relevant stakeholders are well informed about, and supportive of MLA activities in the region
