Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Team Leader with coding expertise is ensuring accurate and compliant coding practices, and optimizing revenue cycle performance. This role involves supervising day-to-day coding operations, providing training and mentorship, and collaborating with other departments to improve processes and achieve financial goals
Coding Expertise:
- Maintain a strong understanding of coding guidelines, regulations, and best practices.
- Review and analyse coding output to ensure accuracy and compliance with DHA regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable coding regulations and guidelines.

Revenue Cycle Management:
- Insurance claims submission, resubmission and reconciliation
- Monitor RCM performance metrics, such as collections, denial rates, and work-in-progress.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to optimize revenue cycle performance.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as billing and collections, to ensure a smooth and efficient revenue cycle.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration, business, or coding.
- Experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, particularly in coding.
- Certification in medical coding is preferred
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of coding guidelines, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using electronic Medical records (EMR) systems and other relevant software.
- Strong computer skills, including data entry and analysis
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
