We are looking for a qualified Safety Manager to join our contracting company. The candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment across all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, legal requirements, and international safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Provide safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for staff and workers.
- Investigate incidents/accidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to promote a strong safety culture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in safety management within the construction/contracting sector (UAE/GCC experience preferred).
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent .
- Strong leadership, communication, and training skills
