We are hiring a Safety Officer to join our contracting company. The successful candidate will support the implementation of safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace across all project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in implementing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions for workers.
- Report unsafe practices, hazards, and incidents to the Safety Manager.
- Maintain safety records, inspection checklists, and documentation.
- Support accident/incident investigations and recommend preventive measures.
- Promote a positive safety culture among employees and site staff.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as Safety Officer in construction/contracting sector (UAE/GCC experience preferred).
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are an advantage .
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
