Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in hydraulic products, including hoses, fittings, adaptors, valves, and other related items. They will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting clients with their needs, and driving sales growth. You must have extensive knowledge of hydraulic rubber hoses, fittings, and their working pressure ratings. This role requires a self-motivated individual with problem-solving abilities and a strong background in the hydraulic and hose-related industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers walking in for our over-the-counter service.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on hydraulic products, including repair and replacement options for hoses.
- Coordinate with the technicians to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate hydraulic solutions to meet their requirements.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of hydraulic rubber hoses (1 wire, 2 wire, etc.) and various hydraulic fittings (BSP, NPT, JIC, METRIC, etc.), ensuring the correct selection of hoses and fittings based on customer-provided information.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Prepare and present sales proposals and quotes to clients.
- Prepare invoices accurately, process payments and maintain records of all jobs carried out.
- Keep track of inventory levels for OTC products, especially hydraulic hoses and fittings.
- Ensure well-organized displays of our products in the OTC area.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales objectives.
- Actively engage in sales activities, including prospecting, lead generation, and follow-up.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in the hydraulic or related industry.
- In-depth knowledge of hydraulic products.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Hydraulic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
