Job Title: Sales Supervisor – Beverages (General Trade)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and goal-driven Sales Supervisor to lead and support our general trade sales team in the beverages sector. This role is responsible for overseeing daily sales operations, guiding salesmen, executing sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of volume, coverage, and visibility targets across the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coach, and motivate a team of general trade salesmen to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Plan and assign daily sales routes and tasks to ensure efficient coverage and customer service.
- Monitor field activities, accompany salesmen on visits, and provide on-the-job training and performance feedback.
- Track sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate regular reports for senior management.
- Develop and implement sales plans and promotions in line with company objectives.
- Ensure proper execution of merchandising standards and product visibility in retail outlets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key trade customers and resolve escalated issues.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to manage stock levels and delivery schedules.
- Recruit, train, and onboard new sales team members as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- 3–5 years of proven experience in FMCG sales, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team leader role in the beverages industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Solid understanding of general trade channels and local market dynamics.
- Ability to analyze sales data and make actionable decisions.
- Proficient in using MS Office and sales reporting tools.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within the territory.
