Job Title: Security Officer

Job Purpose:
The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the Affordable Group of Companies’ premises, assets, employees, and visitors. This includes enforcing company security policies, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to incidents or emergencies in a professional and effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access at all entry and exit points of company premises.
- Patrol assigned areas regularly to identify and respond to security risks, breaches, or suspicious activity.
- Operate and monitor CCTV and other surveillance equipment.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents and coordinate with police, fire department, or emergency services as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date incident reports, visitor logs, and daily security reports.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including fire safety, first aid, and evacuation procedures.
- Assist in crowd control during corporate events or high-traffic periods.
- Conduct security checks of vehicles, deliveries, and contractors entering the premises.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Facilities Manager.
- Collaborate with HR and Administration in handling internal investigations, if needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma; additional security training or certifications (SIRA license) preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Security Officer or Guard, ideally in a corporate or commercial environment in the UAE.
- Knowledge of UAE security laws, emergency response procedures, and basic health & safety regulations.
- Proficient in using security systems (CCTV, access control, etc.).
- Strong observation, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit and able to work in shifts (day/night/weekends).
- Fluent in English; knowledge.
