Job Description
We are looking for a technically strong Senior Associate - Landscape to join our growing team and help lead the delivery of complex landscape architecture projects across the region. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in managing design teams, developing robust technical solutions, and ensuring quality and consistency from concept through to construction. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between design vision and built reality, working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver award-winning landscape environments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical development and delivery of complex landscape architecture projects across all design stages, with a focus on detail design and construction documentation.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.
- Oversee the preparation of drawings and specifications, and tender documentation with a strong understanding of regional practices.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams (urban design, architecture, engineering) and external consultants to ensure design integration and technical coherence.
- Supervise and mentor junior and mid-level landscape architects, providing guidance on technical detailing, documentation standards, and best practices.
- Review and approve work produced by the team to ensure quality control and alignment with project requirements and office standards.
- Provide training and support in software tools, material use, and detailing strategies.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders on technical matters.
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and site visits to provide technical expertise and resolve design or construction issues.
- Support the preparation of technical reports, design narratives, and presentations.
- Assist senior leadership in project proposals, fee development, and resource planning as needed.
- Contribute to the strategic growth of the landscape team by identifying technical gaps and opportunities for innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in either Architecture or Landscape, if the former candidates should ideally hold an MSc in Landscape
- 12+ years experience within Landscape Architecture
