About the Job:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Executive to join The Finance and Accounting team in Jumeirah Mina Al Salam. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Identify and record charges from corporate credit cards, ensuring accurate allocation to the appropriate accounts.
- Identify and record technical service fee payments in the JI debtors account, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and reconcile books for Jumeirah Management Services business units, completing month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure completion of bank reconciliations and related balance sheets by specified deadlines, maintaining adherence to SLA agreements.
- Provide support to team members and stakeholders, resolving queries promptly to maintain a seamless work environment.
- Forward monthly backups to the appointed company for archiving purposes, ensuring data security and compliance with record-keeping requirements.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent from an accredited and renowned University.
- 0-2 years’ experience in Finance within hospitality or customer service-related industry.
- Professional Finance or Accounting Certification (i.e. CPA, CIMA).
- Software competencies – Microsoft Office programs (Intermediate | Advanced).
- Leadership and team management skills
