Job Title: Site Document Controller
Location: Dubailand, Wadi Al Safa 5 – New Project
Job Description:
We are seeking a Site Document Controller with experience in MEP Contracting to manage and control project-related documentation on-site. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring all project documents are properly filed, updated, and distributed to the concerned departments in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and control all project documentation, both electronic and hard copy, in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure proper filing, indexing, and retrieval of technical documents, drawings, and correspondence.
- Maintain and update project registers, logs, and trackers for easy reference.
- Distribute documents to relevant project team members, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Ensure that document revisions, approvals, and submissions are properly recorded and tracked.
- Support project engineers, site team, and management with document requirements.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors regarding documentation flow.
- Assist in preparing project handover documents and final documentation submission.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 1–3 years of UAE experience as a Document Controller, preferably in MEP contracting.
- Strong knowledge of document control systems, filing methods, and project documentation procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of document management software is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
