The Role
We're looking for a Python or TypeScript Developer who can work across the backend and/or frontend of our SaaS platform. You’ll be part of a small, high-impact product and engineering team responsible for building and iterating on core features, APIs, and integrations.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs, services, and UIs using Python (FastAPI/Django) and/or TypeScript (Node.js/React).
- Collaborate with product and design teams to ship features that customers love.
- Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
- Integrate with third-party APIs (CRM, email/SMS providers, payment gateways, etc.).
- Help shape engineering best practices and influence technology choices as we grow.
- Contribute to DevOps, performance, and security improvements as needed.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience building SaaS applications using Python or TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
- Experience with RESTful API design and/or GraphQL.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with frontend frameworks like React.
- Background in B2B SaaS or building internal tools/dashboards.
- Experience with message queues, background tasks (e.g., Celery or BullMQ).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Familiarity with microservices or serverless architecture.
