Job Description
The Stakeholder Manager for Hard and Soft Facilities Management (FM) services in the public realm is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and enhancing relationships with local government authorities and related stakeholders. The role ensures delivery of high-quality FM services that meet strategic objectives, regulatory standards, and community expectations within the clients public spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for local authorities, government agencies, and community stakeholders regarding FM services within public spaces.
- Conduct regular meetings, consultations, and presentations to align services with stakeholder expectations and regulations.
- Facilitate communication between FM teams and stakeholders on operational issues, service delivery, and community concerns.
Contract & Service Delivery Oversight:
- Oversee the performance of contractors providing hard and soft FM services, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and UAE regulations.
- Monitor service quality, safety standards, and regulatory compliance across all public realm assets.
- Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement strategies as needed.
Regulatory & Standards Compliance:
- Ensure all FM activities adhere to local laws, environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and Abu Dhabi Municipality requirements.
- Lead audits and inspections, coordinating necessary corrective measures.
Strategic Planning & Reporting:
- Contribute to strategic planning for public realm improvements related to FM services.
- Prepare reports, updates, and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting service performance, issues, and improvement initiatives.
Community & Public Engagement:
- Support community outreach efforts to promote safe, clean, and sustainable public spaces.
- Address community feedback, concerns, and service requests in coordination with FM teams.
Budget & Contract Management:
- Oversee budgets allocated for FM services, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Manage contractual negotiations and renewals with service providers, ensuring value for money.
Risk Management & Safety:
- Identify and mitigate operational risks related to FM activities in the public realm.
- Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed by all contractors and staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Extensive experience in FM services management, particularly in public sector or public realm projects within Abu Dhabi or UAE.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills in a multicultural environment.
- Strong knowledge of local regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies in Abu Dhabi.
- Proven experience in contract management, service quality assurance, and reporting.
- Leadership and negotiation skills.
