The Storekeeper is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of construction materials, tools, and equipment at the site/store. Ensures proper inventory control and timely availability of materials to support construction operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and record deliveries of construction materials and tools.
Verify quantity and quality of materials against delivery notes and purchase orders.
Organize and maintain the store layout for easy identification and accessibility of items.
Issue materials and tools as per approved requests and maintain records of all transactions.
Coordinate with procurement and site teams for timely replenishment of stock.
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular physical stock checks.
Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage, loss, or deterioration of materials.
Handle tools and equipment check-in/check-out and keep proper logs.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
Follow all safety and security procedures related to store operations.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a storekeeper in the construction industry, preferably in U.A.E.
Familiar with construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Proficient in using inventory management software and MS Excel.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Knowledge of local suppliers and logistics in Dubai is an advantage.
