1. Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate stock levels.
- Regularly check and update inventory records.
- Conduct periodic stocktaking or cycle counts.
2. Receiving Goods
- Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies.
- Verify quantity and quality of items received.
- Record incoming shipments in inventory system.
3. Issuing and Dispatching
- Prepare items for distribution.
- Issue materials or products as per request/orders.
- Update inventory records when items are issued or moved.
4. Storage and Organization
- Properly label and store items.
- Ensure goods are stored in designated, organized locations.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store.
5. Record Keeping and Documentation
- Maintain documentation for incoming and outgoing goods.
- Prepare reports on stock levels, damages, or shortages.
- Use software systems (like ERP, Excel, etc.) for tracking.
6. Security and Safety
- Safeguard inventory from theft or damage.
- Follow safety procedures in handling and storing goods.
- Report any safety hazards or stock discrepancies.
7. Coordination and Communication
- Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and other departments.
- Communicate stock issues or needs to management.
- Assist with stock planning or procurement if needed.
