As a Storekeeper at Zahr Freighters, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and organizing all incoming and outgoing goods. Daily responsibilities include updating stock records, preparing inventory reports, coordinating with procurement and warehouse teams, and ensuring timely dispatch of goods to appropriate departments or clients. The role requires close monitoring of stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, as well as proactive coordination with other departments to forecast inventory needs.
To excel in this role, candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the logistics or freight forwarding industry. A strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory software, and supply chain procedures is essential. Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are critical. Basic computer skills and familiarity with ERP systems will be highly beneficial. Fluency in English and the ability to communicate clearly with team members and vendors are also important.
