About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for an Executive to join the Housekeeping department in Jumeirah Saadiyat Island. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Oversee housekeeping attendants, ensuring services are performed efficiently and effectively.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to manage resources and services.
- Keep detailed records of deep cleaning tasks, including window cleaning, carpet shampooing, drapery cleaning, mattress turning, and room cleaning.
- Conduct inspections of corridors, public areas, back-of-house, and guest rooms to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
- Ensure all housekeeping equipment is properly maintained and handled.
- Address guest complaints following standard operating procedures and report issues to the Executive Housekeeper or Housekeeping Manager.
- Manage the distribution and control of master keys to ensure security.
- Assist in inventory management and ensure the availability of necessary resources for housekeeping tasks.
- Facilitate training programs for housekeeping staff, conduct performance evaluations, and ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and hotel policies.
- Liaise with Front Office, Engineering, and F&B departments to ensure rooms are ready for guests, maintenance issues are addressed, and special needs are met.
