Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations across multiple job sites or departments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Conduct routine site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and support local teams.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and management to meet project timelines and objectives.
- Assist in workforce planning, shift scheduling, and labor distribution as needed.
- Serve as a liaison between field operations and upper management, reporting updates and escalating challenges.
- Provide on-site training, coaching, and performance evaluations for staff.
- Ensure availability of tools, equipment, and materials required for smooth site functioning.
- Implement corrective actions promptly when performance, safety, or compliance issues arise.
- Maintain clear records of site activities, personnel performance, and incident reports.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or superintendent role, ideally with multi-site oversight.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel frequently and work at various site locations.
- Good understanding of occupational safety and health regulations.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using mobile devices, email, and basic reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Operations, or related field.
- OSHA or other safety certifications.
- Experience with workforce management software or field reporting tools.
- Bilingual capabilities (if applicable based on location).
