Job Purpose:
To ensure the highest hygiene and sanitation standards across all stewarding operations while optimizing resource usage, maintaining safety protocols, and leading a team for smooth event execution.
Key Responsibilities & Weightage:
- Maintain hygiene and smooth operations (15%)
- Ensure the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained across all areas. Oversee daily operations to guarantee efficiency and cleanliness.
- Cost and breakage control (15%)
Monitor and reduce chemical, utility, and breakage costs. Conduct regular staff briefings to support cost-saving measures.
- Operational efficiency and inventory (15%)
Oversee back-of-house operations, conduct monthly inventory of OPEQ/CAPEX, implement technology-driven initiatives, train subordinates, manage chemical and resource usage, and ensure timely delivery of goods internally and externally.Encourage continuous development of self and team. Monitor and control cleaning supply, manpower, utility, chemical, and fuel costs. Maintain proper inventory records, oversee administrative tasks, ensure efficient resource utilization, and lead operational execution during events. Manage equipment storage and issuance.Carry out other duties as assigned by the Assistant Manager – Stewarding.Take initiative in problem-solving during events. Prepare checklists, duty rotas, requisitions, and conduct training as directed.Ensure cleaning supplies are available for all assigned tasks and conduct daily checks of OGR and checklists.Adhere strictly to client's policies and procedures.Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.Total: 100%

Operating Environment:
- Work may involve confined spaces, exposure to heat, chemicals, and heavy machinery.
- Requires physical activity, including lifting and shifting.
- Flexibility in working hours is essential, based on business needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
- High school graduate (12th grade), or
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar English-speaking work environment, with at least 1 year in a comparable role.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a hotel or catering environment, including a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or stewarding position.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals
- English language proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing)
- High grooming and hygiene standards
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Training:
- Preferably PIC (Person In Charge) certified
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 5 months
Pay: Up to AED6,500.00 per month
