Friendly Early Childhood Center in Dubai is currently seeking highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistants to join our dynamic and nurturing environment for the next Academic Year. About the Role
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or CACHE Level 2 or above (fully attested in the UAE and home country).
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children across all age groups in a nursery or early childhood setting (UAE experience is mandatory)
- Preferably have experience with the British EYFS curriculum.
- Possess a warm, empathetic personality and align with our center’s values.
- Are familiar with UAE cultural values and embrace cultural diversity.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a healthy, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all children.
- Support the Class Teacher/Supervisor in daily activities and lesson preparations.
- Engage children through creative play, songs, storytelling, games, and imaginative activities.
- Observe and support children's development, including speech, coordination, and social skills.
- Supervise children during group activities, sports events, and field trips.
- Set up and tidy up the classroom daily, ensuring a clean and safe space.
- Source and organize learning materials for the class.
- Take initiative during activities such as reading, music, cooking, and dance in the absence of the Supervisor.
