Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of steel structures, working closely with engineers, drafters, and other professionals. You will utilize your architectural expertise and software skills to create innovative and functional steel solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine architectural design concepts for steel structures, considering factors such as functionality, aesthetics, constructability, and cost.
- Create and maintain detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD software.
- Utilize Revit for building information modeling (BIM) to improve design coordination and efficiency.
- Leverage 3DMax for architectural visualization .
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure structural integrity and compliance with building codes.
- Provide technical guidance and direction to drafters.
- Preparing cutting list and job orders
- Prepare and manage technical submissions for projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Architecture degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in architectural design, preferably with a focus on steel structures.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D), Revit, and 3DMax.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in a steel manufacturing environment (a plus).
