Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Timekeeper to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately tracking and maintaining employee attendance, labor hours, and site-related time records to ensure smooth payroll processing and workforce management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily attendance and working hours of site staff and laborers
- Record overtime, absences, leaves, and other time-related data
- Coordinate with site supervisors to verify manpower allocation and daily logs
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly timesheets and submit them to HR/Accounts
- Maintain up-to-date labor and subcontractor attendance records
- Assist in resolving discrepancies in time records and payroll queries
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws regarding work hours and wages
- Support administrative tasks related to site operations as required
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in office administration is a plus
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in timekeeping, preferably in a construction environment
- Familiarity with labor time tracking systems or ERP software is an advantage
- Proficient in MS Excel and basic data entry
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage large volumes of data
- Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred:
- Experience with multi-site or large-scale construction projects
- Knowledge of UAE labor laws (or relevant local labor regulations)
Job Types: Temporary, Contract
Contract length: 1 month
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
