Key Responsibilities:
- Apply torch-on waterproofing membranes using propane/gas torch equipment.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and priming prior to membrane installation.
- Overlap and seal membrane sheets to ensure complete water resistance.
- Identify and repair damaged membrane sections.
- Follow project specifications, safety protocols, and fire prevention measures.
- Coordinate with waterproofing technicians and site supervisors.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in torch-on membrane waterproofing systems.
- Understanding of safe handling of torches and gas cylinders.
- Familiarity with insulation and vapor barrier layers (preferred).
- Physically fit and able to work in hot or outdoor conditions.
