Extreme Marine is seeking a skilled and experienced Upholsterer to join our team. As an Upholsterer, you will be responsible for the restoration and creation of boat/ships seats. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, strong craftsmanship skills, and the ability to work with various materials.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and sew fabric or leather to create or repair upholstery
- Install padding and springs in furniture frames
- Repair or replace damaged springs, webbing, and other components
- Consult with clients to understand their upholstery needs and preferences
- Select appropriate materials based on design and durability requirements
- Operate sewing machines, hand tools, and other equipment
- Ensure quality and precision in all upholstering work
- Uphold safety and quality standards in the workshop
