Job Overview: We are seeking a professional, attentive, and enthusiastic waiter to join our team. As a waiter at our private dining, you will play a crucial role in providing guests with an exceptional dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that each guest's needs are met promptly and courteously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Service: Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests. Engage with patrons in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
• Order Management: Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders into the POS system. Communicate special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff.
• Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and drinks to guests in an efficient and timely manner. Ensure that orders are presented attractively and meet the restaurant's high standards.
• Knowledge of Menu: Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings. Be prepared to answer questions and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Table Maintenance: Set up and clear tables according to the restaurant's standards. Refill beverages, remove used dishes, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
• Collaborate with Team: Work closely with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure smooth operation and a seamless dining experience. Assist in training new staff as needed.
• Upselling: Suggest and promote additional items such as appetizers, desserts, and beverages to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Handling Payments: Process transactions accurately, handle cash and credit card payments, and provide guests with their receipts.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment is highly preferred.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with a strong ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Appearance: Well-groomed and dressed in accordance with the restaurant's uniform policy.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays or food items as required.
• Knowledge of Food Safety: Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
