Job Title: Waiter / Waitress
Location: Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
Reports to: Restaurant Supervisor / Restaurant Manager
Job Purpose:
The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant and café environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
- Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations when required.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, following proper service standards.
- Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and maintained before, during, and after service.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or complaints.
- Process bills and handle cash/card payments accurately.
- Follow health, hygiene, and safety standards at all times.
- Support team members and maintain a positive working environment.
- Participate in regular training sessions and team meetings.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant or café is mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Presentable, professional grooming, and positive attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and order-taking procedures is preferred.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a restaurant or café.
