Catering Chef (5 Years Experience)
Position Summary:
The Catering Chef is responsible for preparing and executing large-scale catering orders, ensuring timely delivery and excellent quality for events and functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare menus for catering events (corporate, private, large functions).
- Coordinate with clients to customize catering requirements.
- Manage kitchen staff and delegate tasks during events.
- Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and food quality.
- Oversee logistics for transport, setup, and service at catering venues.
- Maintain cost control and minimize waste during bulk production.
- Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of catering or banquet kitchen experience.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle large-scale production under pressure.
- Excellent communication and client service orientation.
