The childcare worker will mainly work as part of the nursery team under the direction of the Manager/Administrator to provide a safe, high quality standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the setting, thereby effectively delivering the early years framework. The candidates will develop the social and communication skills of children and provide a safe and secure environment in which the child can learn. They build and maintain relationships with parents/guardians to further support children. Record observations and summarize the children's achievements
Bachelor degree in education or early childhood. If the bachelor degree is another stream then an early years teaching certificate or CASH or Montessori is a must.
- Good communication skills to report on the child’s individual needs/performance/development to superiors or parents.
- Physical energy to run around after children all day.
- First aid training is strongly preferred.
- Full English proficiency is required. Arabic is desirable.
- Intermediate computer literacy is required e.g. MS Office.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in related field
