We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated HSE Officer cum Site Supervisor to join our team immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Supervision: Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
- Employee Work Hours: Accurately record and track employees' work hours, including regular hours, overtime, vacation time, sick leave, and other types of absences.
- Risk Assessments: Develop and implement comprehensive risk assessments and safety management systems.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations.
- Safety Culture: Drive a positive safety culture through training, awareness programs, and proactive safety measures.
- Project Collaboration: Collaborate with project management teams to integrate HSE objectives into project execution.
- Documentation: Produce all documentation as per legislation pertaining to EHS issues.
- Compliance: Monitor the work site daily, emphasizing EHS issues and their corrective and preventive measures.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports summarizing employee hours worked.
- Data Management: Input and maintain time and attendance data in the organization's designated system or software.
- Accuracy: Review timecards, timesheets, and attendance records for accuracy and completeness.
- Client Liaison: Comply with project requirements and liaise with the client Safety representative.
- Accident Investigation: Conduct accident investigations and recommend preventive measures.
- Safety Meetings: Conduct staff safety meetings and generate minutes of meetings.
- Training: Generate and submit job hazard analysis and risk assessments for each major phase or element of work as necessary and train the concerned operatives for safe work operations.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH Certification: Mandatory.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of HSE experience in UAE construction or related industries.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- HSE Qualification: Approved HSE qualification. NEBOSH certification is preferred.
- Advisory Capabilities: Capable of advising and assisting all personnel on the project for the implementation of EHS issues and representing project safety meetings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
