We are looking for a Cost Controller for our restaurant group. He will be responsible for managing and analyzing the cost of operations across all restaurant locations, with a key focus on food, beverage, and labor costs. This role plays a vital part in ensuring financial efficiency, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsabilities:
- Monitor and analyze food, beverage, and labor costs across all outlets.
- Conduct regular cost variance analyses and suggest corrective actions.
- Collaborate with procurement and kitchen teams to ensure optimal inventory management.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, waste, and transfers.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly cost control reports.
- Assist in menu engineering by analyzing item profitability and portion controls.
- Support monthly stocktakes and reconcile discrepancies.
- Review supplier invoices, purchase orders, and price lists for consistency.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for cost control.
- Work closely with finance and operations teams to prepare budgets and forecasts.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cost Controller or similar role in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Strong understanding of F&B operations, inventory management, and cost accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
