Job Overview
As a Director at Emirates NBD, your role is to handle all equity flows on the desk. Help execute orders, give market information, prices and provide an all-round support for the night shift. Handle very demanding asset managers who give orders simultaneously for several portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide seamless execution on electronic and voice platforms to customers of the bank as well as RMs and IAs. This job as part of the International Markets desk is to provide customers timely execution by voice and electronic means in the FX, Equity and Derivative markets
- Handle client calls and provide regular market updates
- Manage buy and sell orders received over phone / OMS & EMSX
- Ensure best execution of all orders choosing appropriate algo based on order size and market liquidity
- Maintain balances for buy vs sell
- Client MTM and margin call monitoring
- Adhere to local regulatory policies and trading venue rules
- Execute client orders in line with best execution practices
Skills and Experience
- The job role will require the candidate to work flexi hours to ensure round the clock trading access for customers.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree
- At least 5 to 7 years’ experience in the financial services industry
- Experience of Execution platforms and knowledge of the various Asset classes international markets
- Knowledge of UAE Central Bank AML rules and regulations
- Knowledge of banking products and operations
- Technical knowledge of Local and International Equity Markets & listed global Derivatives
