Job Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Event Manager to join our global team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering complex international events from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution within scope, time, and budget
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and end-to-end management of selected international events.
- Liaise with venues and third-party vendors, including negotiations on catering, A/V, accommodation, logistics, and technical support.
- Oversee all delegate-related operations: registration, communications, guest list updates, and on-site coordination.
- Manage scheduling and support for high-profile participants, including VIP guests, speakers, and moderators.
- Coordinate sponsor-related logistics and ensure that all contractual deliverables are fulfilled prior to and during events.
- Supervise event communications, ensuring timely distribution of invitations and marketing materials via digital and print channels.
- Support the development of event branding and visual identity (e.g., stage design, signage, sponsor visibility, welcome desks).
- Track, analyze, and report engagement metrics (e.g., invitation responses, delegate feedback, marketing performance).
- Oversee logistics related to the production and delivery of branded materials and collateral to global partners.
- Collaborate closely with the design team to project manage visual outputs aligned with event needs.
- Ensure that all aspects of assigned events align with the organisation’s brand, values, and global positioning.
Profile & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, arts, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing high-level international events.
- Proven experience handling complex event logistics across multiple geographies and time zones.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Skilled in negotiating and coordinating with suppliers, sponsors, and venue partners.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently. Candidates must have visa-free access to Europe, North America, and Asia.
- Exceptional attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion.
- High sense of ownership, adaptability, and performance under pressure.
- Experience working with or alongside international organizations, government agencies, or diplomatic institutions is considered a strong asset.
