Role Overview
As a Strategic Finance Manager based in Dubai, you will be the go-to individual contributor for unit-economics stewardship across Quik’s dark-store network. You will drive accuracy in cost forecasting, capex planning, and operational KPI reporting—partnering daily with Supply Chain, Last-Mile, Real-Estate, and central Finance teams to shape data-driven decisions that unlock profitable growth in the UAE and our new KSA market
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain unit-economics and capex-payback models covering inbound freight, warehousing, last-mile, and site roll-outs.
- Identify and explain variances in fulfillment cost, labour productivity, shrinkage, wastage, and inventory turns, turning data into clear, actionable insights for Ops and Leadership Team.
- Partner closely with Supply-Chain, Dark-Store, Last-Mile, and Real-Estate leads to embed financial discipline in capacity planning, routing, staffing, and site-selection decisions.
- Provide scenario modelling and investment appraisals for new store launches, automation projects, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with central finance and strategy teams to align on strategic priorities and support ad‑hoc analyses.
- Drive continuous improvement of Ops FP&A tools, dashboards, and reporting processes to boost data accuracy, reporting speed, and decision-making transparency across the organisation.
Required Experience & Skills
- Experience: 7-9 years in strategic finance, corporate finance, or financial planning within high‑growth tech, fintech, or platform businesses.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau.
- Finance Systems: Familiarity with ERP or FP&A systems (e.g. Oracle, MS Dynamics).
- Analytical Capability: Demonstrated ability to analyze large data sets and distill actionable insights.
- Soft Skills: Strong business partnering, communication, and presentation skills; ability to influence stakeholders across levels.
- Other: High ownership mindset, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
- Professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CFA) is a plus.
