Your day to day
Operations & Hygiene
Supervise daily stewarding operations, including cleaning schedules, dishwashing, and equipment sanitation.
Ensure all kitchen and back-of-house areas meet HACCP, hygiene, and safety standards.
Oversee the handling, cleaning, and storage of kitchen equipment, utensils, and chinaware.
Monitor waste management and recycling procedures to maintain sustainability goals.
Team Supervision
Assign duties and schedules to stewarding colleagues.
Train and guide team members on hygiene practices, chemical handling, and equipment use.
Ensure discipline, grooming, and professional conduct of stewarding staff.
Support to Culinary & F&B
Assist chefs and F&B team with timely supply of clean equipment and utensils.
Coordinate with banquet and outlet teams for setup and support during events.
Ensure smooth flow of stewarding services during peak operations.
Inventory & Administration
Maintain records of breakage, losses, and stewarding supplies.
Control stock of cleaning materials and chemicals, ensuring cost efficiency.
Report equipment maintenance issues and follow up with engineering.
What we need from you
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in stewarding, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role (luxury hotel experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene, safety, and HACCP standards.
Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage a multicultural team.
Basic English proficiency (Arabic or other languages an advantage).
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
