Position Summary:
The Front Office Supervisor (Arabic Speaker) is responsible for overseeing daily front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes, and delivering exceptional guest service. This role involves supervising the front office team, handling guest concerns, and maintaining communication between departments. Fluency in Arabic and English is essential to effectively assist and communicate with guests from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Operations
- Supervise and assist with guest check-in and check-out procedures.
- Ensure accurate posting of charges and handling of cash, credit, and other payment methods.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room status, rates, and hotel facilities.
- Guest Service & Communication
- Greet guests warmly and address their needs promptly in Arabic and English.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
- Assist VIP guests and manage special arrangements when required.
- Team Supervision & Training
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to service standards.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to front desk staff.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Coordination & Reporting
- Liaise with housekeeping, engineering, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit daily front office reports to management.
- Ensure all reservations, cancellations, and modifications are processed accurately.
- Compliance & Standards
- Follow hotel policies, cash handling procedures, and security protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information.
- Ensure all front office activities align with brand standards and service guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in front office or hospitality operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) and MS Office.
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to work under pressure.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Capacity to stand for extended periods during shifts.
