The Head Chef plays a pivotal role in delivering the signature InterContinental Food & Beverage experience by curating cuisine-led concepts that embody Story, Set, and Soul. Through locally relevant themes and authentic Flavors, the Head Chef creates memorable dining moments that nourish, restore, and excite guests. Responsible for the hotel’s signature restaurant, Gin Bar, in-room dining experiences, and curated menus for special events and conferences, they ensure each touchpoint reflects a deep cultural understanding and fosters inclusivity, indulgence, and connection. With an independent spirit, they balance authenticity with innovation, engaging both hotel guests and the local community while elevating every dining occasion into a remarkable, distinctive, and unforgettable experience.
Culinary Leadership & Menu Development - The Head Chef designs and delivers innovative menus that reflect the hotel’s philosophy, incorporating seasonal, event-specific, and trend-led offerings that cater to diverse guest preferences.
Operational Excellence & Food Standards - Oversees daily kitchen operations across all venues, ensuring consistent quality, presentation, and taste while enforcing strict food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards.
Team Management & Development - Responsible for recruiting, training, and mentoring staff, managing schedules and performance, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing work environment.
Financial & Resource Management - Develops and manages the kitchen budget, controls costs, and oversees inventory, supplier relations, and waste reduction to maximize efficiency and profitability.
Guest Experience & Engagement - Partners with the Food & Beverage team to deliver seamless dining experiences, engages with guests for feedback, and enhances satisfaction to drive loyalty, repeat business, and revenue.

Ideally, you'll have some or all the following qualifications and experience we're looking for:
- Degree or certificate in culinary arts
- 5 years’ experience as a chef
- International work experience with a strong background in Mediterranean cuisine and concept development.
- Extensive international experience specializing in ingredient-focused cuisine and contemporary culinary innovation.
