As an HR Intern, you will provide assistance to our HR department in day-to-day operations while providing a consistent high standard of administration and non-administration support to the Human Resources Department to support achievement of the business goals and strategies.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Experience:
- Previous Internship preferably in Human Resources or Administrative tasks.
- Hospitality/hotel experience desirable
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
- Good public speaking skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English

- Multi-tasking skills
- Computer skills (MS Office, social media tools)
Education or Certification
- Currently studying, recent graduate or at least a year from the graduation date from a reputable college/university
SPECIFIC DUTIES
The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:
As an HR Intern, you are required to be the first point of contact for HR Queries. It is essential to have an overall understanding of the function and responsible HR team member to be able to resolve queries better.
Recruitment
- Managing the careers email ID and assigning Cvs to each recruiter.
- Assisting the HR Team with screenings of Interns and Grey banded positions as required
- To understand the overall Recruitment process.
Associate Relations
- Support Take Care and engagement initiatives of the property
- Assists with associate arrivals in the Housing
- Assists with the organization of any associate events.
- Active part of the Take Care Committee and ARC.
- Assisting the HR Office with driving engagement activities and recognition platform in planning and execution phase.
Disciplinary Process
- Assisting the DHR Ops in absence of the HR Officer in minute taking and taking action to the related documentation.
Human Resources – Department Focus
- Ensure proper distribution of associate name badges, griffin and company ID.
- Ensure proper distribution and management of meal coupons to third party companies.
- Ensure proper inventory of HR supplies, Re-order of office supplies for the HR department
- Updating promotion notice board on a monthly basis
- Support bank accounts opening and replacement tracking
- Needs to be extremely efficient and professionally skilled in preparing documents using Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications.
- Scanning, Filing and forward tracing a variety of documents, appointments etc.
- Taking meeting minutes as requested.
- Updating data on the celebratory dates.
- Responding to various requests for help and information.
- Communicate on behalf of those she/he reports to.
- Associate Help Desk – assists associate's in general inquiries.
- Assisting associate with preparing the NOC letter request.
- Update the Oasys (activate pay slip, Update EID and People Soft ID
- Authorization of salary deduction forms – monthly collection and submission to payroll.
- Preparation of new hire welcome letters
- Preparing Birthday Vouchers
- HR notice boards update
- Female locker assistance
- Registration of associates on the meal coupon machine as required
