Job Purpose :
The role is accountable for advancing Agile maturity across teams by integrating quality-driven practices early in the development lifecycle and ensuring alignment with established delivery standards. Sitting within IT Architecture, the jobholder serves as both a coach and quality guardian guiding teams in adopting modern engineering approaches while ensuring solutions remain scalable, secure, and compliant.
Key Results Area :
1.Define and enforce quality standards and tools, practices for application portfolio to ensure consistency and high-quality deliverables.
2.Monitor compliance with software development best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and security scans.
3.Establish and track key metrics and KPIs such as code quality, test coverage, defect trends, test coverage and delivery consistency for continuous performance measurement.
4.Conduct audits and retrospectives to drive accountability and improvements.
5.Partner with QA, DevOps, and architecture teams to implement shift-left quality practices.
6.Coach teams, Product Owners, and leadership on Agile principles (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or similar frameworks) to enhance efficiency.
7.Drive Agile maturity and continuous improvement across multiple delivery teams and portfolios to support the adoption of Agile metrics (velocity, lead time, team health checks, etc.).
8.Facilitate Agile ceremonies and help resolve organizational-level impediments to foster a culture of experimentation, feedback, and delivery excellence.
9.Drive cloud adoption and zero operations within user comminates, by acting as a dedicated Cloud evangelist.
10.Establish IT Risks and Opportunities register, to work on mitigation plan.
Education Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
