What you'll be doing:
The incumbent in the Leasing Manager role at GMG is responsible for overseeing leasing activities across corporate properties, ensuring optimal occupancy, and enhancing revenue through strategic tenant management. The Leasing Manager will work closely with senior leadership to execute leasing strategies that align with GMG’s goals. This role involves direct collaboration with various departments to attract and retain quality tenants, ensuring compliance, and building a cohesive tenant community within GMG properties.
Job Description:
- Develop and execute strategic leasing plans by identifying and securing high-potential retail locations across GCC/MENA, guided by market research and competitor analysis.
- Drive end-to-end leasing by sourcing leads, facilitating tours, negotiating leases, and ensuring tenant satisfaction.
- Manage all lease actions—new, renewal, amendment, and termination—ensuring compliance and timely tracking of key dates.
- Coordinate with finance for timely rent payments and deliver leasing reports and performance insights to senior management.
- Foster long-term relationships with regional landlords and developers, actively representing the company in leasing and development discussions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, development, and operations teams to ensure seamless project handovers and informed site decisions.
Job Requirements:
- Understanding of the leasing process, including market analysis, lease negotiation, and tenant relationship management.
- Proficiency in leasing software and data management tools.
- Strong knowledge of property compliance requirements, adeptly ensuring that all leasing activities adhere to regulatory standards.
