Position Summary :
An Assistant Sales Manager supports the Sales Manager in overseeing daily sales operations, motivating and guiding sales teams, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. He plays a crucial role in achieving sales target, implementing Sales strategies and maintaining a positive work environment.
Job Responsibilities-:
Market Research/Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities.
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve sales targets, managing sales teams, and expanding market share.
Sales Target & Managing the Sales Pipeline by collaborating with other Departments:
- Supporting Manager for setting the Sales Target on monthly basis and driving team to accomplish it.
- Review regularly the targets and make amendments and adjustments if necessary.
- Maximize department’s profitability through sale of service contracts, labour hours and associated products.
- Working with product development, finance, and other teams to align sales and marketing efforts with overall company goals.
Marketing Strategy and Implementation:
- Analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform decision-making and reporting to upper management.
- Developing and executing marketing campaigns, managing budgets, and utilizing various channels like digital marketing, advertising, and public relations.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Recruiting, training, and managing a team of sales representatives.
- Providing guidance, motivation, support and conducting performance evaluations.
- Train & Mentor, the sales team on product knowledge, sales team & Customer relationship Management.
- Monitors salesperson’s productivity and performance.
Negotiations & Budget Management:
- Managing sales budgets and ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Must be expertise in terms of negotiations with suppliers and customers to increase the profitability of the business.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers
- Understanding their needs and addressing their concerns.
- Resolving customer complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifications-:
Bachelor’s degree in automotive engineering or Degree in relative/MBA.
Understanding of the Automotive/Diesel industry, its products, and market dynamics.
Additional Requirement-:
Candidate must have UAE Driving License.
