We are looking for a Purchaser to manage the company’s buying process for construction and maintenance projects. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery to sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process purchase requests from site engineers/office staff.
- Source suppliers and obtain multiple quotations.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure proper approvals.
- Coordinate with site supervisors for material deliveries.
- Maintain purchasing records, invoices, and supplier database.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and budget limits.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (any field, preference for Business/Engineering).
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing (construction field is an advantage).
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic/Urdu/Hindi is a plus).
- Knowledge of MS Excel/Word for record keeping.
