We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveying Manager to oversee cost management, contract administration, and financial control for fit-out and joinery projects. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UAE construction standards, BOQs, variations, provisional sums, and final accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and manage BOQs, cost estimates, and budgets for fit-out and joinery projects.
- Monitor project costs, track expenditures, and implement cost control measures.
- Manage variations, PC/PS items, and claims in coordination with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Lead contract administration, ensuring compliance with UAE construction regulations.
- Review subcontractor and supplier quotations, negotiate terms, and manage procurement processes.
- Oversee preparation of interim and final accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Provide financial and technical advice to the project team and senior management.
- Mentor and supervise a team of junior quantity surveyors and estimators.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve commercial and contractual issues.
- Ensure proper documentation of all cost and contract-related matters for audit purposes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years UAE experience in fit-out and joinery projects.
- Strong understanding of BOQs, cost control, variations, PC/PS items, and final accounts.
- Excellent contract management and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and industry-standard QS software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Attention to detail with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
