· Supervise security personnel and conduct pre-shift briefings to ensure clear communication of responsibilities and expectations.
· Prepare and maintain comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly security reports.
· Assign duties to security staff in accordance with instructions from the Security Manager.
· Develop duty rosters and facilitate departmental orientation for new hires.
· Liaise with local authorities as required to support security operations.
· Inspect the property daily for damages or incidents and report updates to the Security Manager.
· Consistently perform all tasks in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and relevant legal requirements.
· Conduct routine patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security, submitting detailed reports thereafter.
· Monitor access control points, ensuring proper identification procedures and adherence to entry protocols by security staff.
· Record all incidents, breaches, and unusual activities in the daily security log.
· Hold daily briefings with the security team to review assignments, share updates, and communicate any alerts or concerns.
· Review surveillance footage to detect suspicious activity and report findings promptly.
· Inspect and test security equipment (e.g., alarms, CCTV, radios, vehicles) to ensure optimal functionality.
· Supervise visitor check-in procedures, ensuring strict compliance with established security protocols.
· Conduct weekly meetings with security personnel to review performance, address concerns, and deliver ongoing training.
· Analyze incident reports to identify trends and propose improvements to security measures.
· Organize regular training sessions or emergency drills covering topics such as crisis response, conflict resolution, and customer service.
· Conduct thorough audits of existing security protocols and recommend enhancements as needed.
· Maintain an updated inventory of security equipment and supplies, and initiate procurement when necessary.
· Compile and submit detailed reports summarizing security activities, incidents, and improvement recommendations.
· Periodically review and revise on-site security policies to ensure alignment with best practices and current regulations.
· Perform risk assessments to identify security vulnerabilities and suggest corrective actions.
· Evaluate the performance of security staff and provide constructive feedback to support development and improvement.
· Meet regularly with the Security Manager to address concerns, review operations, and implement improvements.
Experience:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security field.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance technology and loss prevention strategies is preferred.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
