Job Summary:
SOBH Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Stable Manager to oversee our equestrian operations in Ajman. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day horse care, supervise stable staff, maintain facilities, and uphold the highest standards of equine welfare, safety, and operational efficiency.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in stable or equestrian facility management, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
- Knowledge of equine nutrition, conditioning, and health care.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in outdoor, high-temperature environments.
- Familiarity with stable management software and equipment maintenance.
- Degree/Diploma in Equine Science, Animal Science, or related field (preferred).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily stable activities including feeding, grooming, exercise schedules, and horse health monitoring.
- Oversee barns, arenas, paddocks, tack rooms, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Coordinate with veterinarians, farriers, and suppliers for feed, equipment, and medical care.
- Maintain and repair stable equipment, tack, and vehicles.
- Monitor water quality, bedding, and implement climate control solutions suitable for UAE conditions.
- Lead and train stable staff, manage rosters, and enforce SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with animal welfare and biosecurity regulations.
- Track budgets, expenses, and report on stable performance metrics.
