Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Structural Drafter with at least 3 years of relevant experience to join our engineering team in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate structural drawings based on engineering designs, ensuring compliance with project specifications and local building codes. The role requires close collaboration with engineers and project teams to support design and construction activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed structural drawings and plans using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software.
- Interpret structural engineering designs, sketches, and calculations to produce accurate drawings.
- Ensure all drawings comply with UAE building codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Coordinate and collaborate with structural engineers, architects, and other disciplines to produce integrated designs.
- Assist in reviewing and revising drawings based on feedback from engineers and project managers.
- Maintain organized documentation and drawing archives for all structural projects.
- Support construction teams by providing up-to-date drawings and technical clarifications.
- Keep updated with industry standards, software advancements, and local regulations.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Structural Drafter in UAE or similar market.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience with Revit Structure or Tekla Structures is a plus.
- Good understanding of structural engineering principles and construction practices.
- Familiarity with UAE building codes and standards preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver within deadlines.
