Role Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Bunker Surveyor to join our team in Dubai. In this position you will be responsible for conducting Bunker Quantity Surveys / Bunker detective surveys / Bunker ROB Surveys within UAE. The surveys will require immediate turnarounds as client KPI expectations are high. The post holder will carry out any other additional responsibilities / survey jobs as are within the scope of the division and as requested by the Line Manager, whilst ensuring full utilization of all ISS systems according to Standard Operating Procedures.
The post holder will be entitled for a 42-day annual leave schedule, with 5 months on duty and 21 days leave schedule. The 5 months on duty period includes working weekends and holidays. The post holder may be required to attend back-to-back job appointments when the need arises.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct Bunker Quantity Surveys: Coordinate with the office coordinators / agency, client and third parties to ensure timely attendance. Attendance to be followed up with a suitable report based on the job scope and in line with best industry practise.
- Conduct Bunker Detective Surveys: Coordinate with the office coordinators / agency, client and third parties to ensure timely attendance. Attendance to be followed up with a suitable report based on the job scope and in line with best industry practise.
- Conduct Bunker ROB Surveys: Coordinate with the office coordinators / agency, client and third parties to ensure timely attendance. Attendance to be followed up with a suitable report based on the job scope and in line with best industry practise.
- Marketing Activity: Engage in marketing activity for the division where possible.
- HSSE - Health, Safety, Security and Risk (mandatory requirements):
- Comply with all Health & Safety policies
- Accountable for assessing HSSE risk and implementing risk controls within area of responsibility
- Accountable for reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses whether the persons are injured or not
- Taking action within area of accountability to ensure the HSSE of both the job holder and other persons who may be affected by acts carried out or failed to be carried out by the job holder while at work
- Ensure full compliance with the ISS HSSE Management System
- The post holder will carry out any other additional responsibilities (Cargo / Marine surveys) within UAE as are within the scope and purpose of the department and as may be requested by the Line Manager and ensure full utilization of all Inchcape systems.
Who You Are:
- Minimum 3 years experience in similar role.
- Marine or Engineering background
- IBIA / IFIA Certification
- Knowledge or experience of Bunker Surveying
- Knowledge of customer base and their requirements
- Local Middle East Port knowledge is desirable
- Marine Surveying Experience is desirable
- Experience of working with pre-defined processes and procedures and delivering work in accordance to SLA
- Strong communicator both written and verbal
- Good level of numeracy
- Competent user of the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Computer literate and related internal systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- UAE Driving License is desirable
